The only requirements for staying current and receiving the benefits of a Little Switzerland Ski Patroller are:


  1. 1) Committing to 1 six hour patrolling shift or 2 four hour patrolling shifts per week, during the ski season. 
    2) Paying your National Ski Patrol and local patrol dues.
    3) Attend a yearly National Ski Patrol OEC refresher and an     approved CPR  refresher.
    4) Own and wear an approved patrol coat/vest and equipment butt pack.

Current Benefits provided by the Little Switzerland Ski Area

  1. Your choice of a season pass for you, your spouse and your dependant children,  or a individual season pass with guest privileges. (complete photo passes will be issued if you met your requirements during the pervious year.)

  2. Ski Locker for your equipment (share basis, assigned when spaces becomes available.)

  3. Private patrol break room.

Other Benefits

  1. Free skiing at many other regional Ski areas. (Some areas will ask you to ski with your patrol coat on, in case they need the help.)

  2. 25% discount on lift tickets at most major Ski Resorts. (no patrol requirement.)

  3. Since almost all US ski patrollers are NSP members, you have family anywhere you ski.

  4. 50% discount off of list for Ski Equipment directly from most manufactures. (Pro-form)

  5. Access to Professional only ski shows. (Pro-nights)

  6. Access to advance ski patrol training.

  7. Quality Pre-hospital medical training.
